Mission Statement
The Eastern Regional Mon Valley Police Department’s mission is to provide professional and constitutional police services to the community we serve. Through collaboration and partnership we will protect and serve by building trust, preventing crime and the fear of crime, and improving the quality of life for all.

To create a safe, inclusive, and thriving community where every individual is valued, respected, and treated fairly. We strive to build trust and partnerships with our residents through proactive and transparent policing practices and to serve as positive role models and leaders in our community. Our goal is to enhance public safety and quality of life for all while fostering a culture of accountability, professionalism, and integrity within our organization and industry.

Our Ethos
Our community is the most important aspect of our profession. They are not dependent on us, we are dependent on them. They are not an interruption in our work, they are the purpose of it. They are not an outsider in our business, they are part of it. We are not doing them a favor by serving them, they are doing us a favor by giving us an opportunity to do so.
